In 2006 the SSG launched a prize for the best poster presented at an ExTech meeting. The prize is £500 and is intended to to allow the winner to attend the subsequent ExTech meeting. Copies of the winning posters are presented below along with photographs of the recipients winning their awards.

Best Poster Prize at ExTech-2011

Awarded to Elbaleeq Adam (School of Chemical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia) for his poster titled: Eggshell membrane as sorbent material for the extraction of biogenic amines in food samples

Best Poster Prize at ExTech-12 in 2010

Awarded to Ezel Boyaci (Izmir Inst of Technology, Izmir, Turkey.) for his poster titled: Speciation of inorganic and organometallic arsenic species with home made amino-functionalised SPME fibres.

Dr Jared L Anderson winner of last years poster award presented his poster material as a presentation titled Ionic Liquids and Polymeric Ionic Liquids as highly tunable extraction media in analytical microextractions.

Guodong Liang winner of last years poster award presented his poster material as a presentation titled Large Volume Single Drop Microextraction-Sweeping in Capillary Electrophoresis.
