The Chromatographic Society has organised a number of meetings during 2010 which may be of interest
The next meeting is at AstraZeneca, Alderley Park, Cheshire on Thursday March 18th entitled "Advances in High Resolution and High Speed Chromatography”. http://www.chromsoc.com/ChromsocEvents.aspx for the latest circular.
In this meeting the latest developments in high resolution, high speed separations and associated detection will be reviewed. It will be of interest to all practitioners of separation science, particularly those using ultra high pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC), two-dimensional chromatography as well as gas chromatography for problem solving.
We have a number of confirmed speakers from industry and academia. These include Prof. Peter Schoenmakers (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands), Dr Patrik Petersson (AstraZeneca R&D Lund, Sweden), Dr Frédéric Lynen (Ghent University, Belgium), Prof. Ian Wilson (AstraZeneca, UK) and Dr Philip Grace (Quotient, UK). As a result of the speakers we have recruited for this meeting and our proposed programme, we believe this will be a highly interesting and well attended event. There will also be an exhibition (both instrument and consumables) during the meeting alongside vendor presentations in the programme.
Cost for Chromatography society members (& BMSS, RSC members) is £100, for non members £150 and for retired persons £30. For this meeting we will offer limited free registration to students and to unemployed Chromatography Society members to provide networking opportunities. These are available on request.
